TRANSOM proacts with the recent developments of the COVID-19 by affirming “The health of our People and the safety of our Guests always come first”

 

The health and safety of guests and employees is a top priority for TRANSOM. Therefore, and in line with current developments regarding the prevailing health condition on “Corona Virus” (COVID-19), TRANSOM has taken precautionary measures and activated its Crisis Management Committee from last week. The committee immediately started working to apply instant preventive measures and to take all necessary decisions according to the health and safety standards. This involves all TRANSOM subsidiaries with TRANSOM Ground Handling, TRANSOM Catering, TRANSOM Cargo SATS, TRANSOM Hospitality and Muscat Duty Free.

TRANSOM’s Crisis Management Committee follows a comprehensive strategy that contributes to maintaining a secured performance of the various operations at all airports in the Sultanate at the highest possible health and safety standards. With a fast decision-making progress, this is well orchestrated in close coordination with the relevant authorities and business partners. Besides health and safety, the committee concentrates on the operational stability and continuous sustainability of all its businesses.

Under the lead of TRANSOM Handling an undisrupted ground operation is secured. For the safety of its guests and employees, a continuous sterilization of all interaction areas has been introduced as well as advanced scanners to detect the possible infection with “Corona virus”.
