      TRANSOM is a part of Oman Aviation Group, a sector development company whose vision is to build a world-renowned national aviation ecosystem for a thriving Oman. TRANSOM is creating an integrated logistics sector with an extensive range of services to attract new passengers to Oman. It's collaborative approach to economic growth and diversification that positions Oman as a great place to visit and do business.       Where we've been

      The journey of TRANSOM began in January 2017. Since then, we've been providing multiple aviation support activities across the country through ground handling, cargo management, catering, onboard, airport duty free retail as well as hospitality and hotel operations across Oman.

      Thanks to a comprehensive portfolio of services that drive operational excellence in aviation, we're setting a new benchmark in quality. The Muscat International Airport plays a key role in attracting more airlines, passengers and cargo and forms a strong foundation for future growth in aviation services.

Our excellence begins on the ground and ensures a smooth aircraft, passenger and cargo journey in all of Oman's airports. With approximately 5,000 employees across our 5 companies -TRANSOM handling, TRANSOM Catering, TRANSOM Hospitality, TRANSOM SATS Cargo and Muscat Duty Free- we're committed to taking Oman's aviation industry to new heights.

Since then, we've been providing multiple aviation support activities across the country through ground handling, cargo management, catering, onboard, airport duty free retail as well as hospitality and hotel operations in nine different destinations around Oman.

      Thanks to a comprehensive portfolio of services that drive operational excellence in aviation, we're setting a new benchmark in quality for the years ahead. The new Muscat International Airport (officially inaugurated in November 2018) plays a key role in attracting more airlines, passengers and cargo to the Sultanate and forms a strong foundation for future growth in aviation services.

      TRANSOM is the evolution from our previous business model; where we have a 30-year legacy that we can draw upon. TRANSOM is, in fact, an outcome of the restructuring of the aviation sector in Oman. Nevertheless, it is a new and improved era for the company, one with fresh and exciting horizons.

      TRANSOM, as many other global organizations, is evolving and building the business in a fast-paced, high-velocity change environment. Cultural transformations within the company and marketplace challenges are accelerating daily, with our teams expected to fully accept a world defined by volatility, uncertainty, complexity, and ambiguity.

      To lead with excellence in an industry hallmarked by increased levels of automation and digital technology becoming the norm is required heightened adaptability and creativity. Valued judgments must be based on a clear global competitive understanding across the workplace to allow for faster problem solving and decision-making.

      Therefore I believe that one of my most important roles at TRANSOM is to create a positive culture. One that enhances the talent, diversity and happiness of our workforce which will, in turn, be reflected in our results and impact the experiences of our patrons (clients, partners, suppliers) tremendously. As a service provider, PEOPLE are our main asset and this is where the focus is at TRANSOM.

      We want our patrons to feel the renowned Omani hospitality in every step of their journey with us. This is our key competitive advantage. By leaning into the hospitality that naturally represents the people that form the foundation of TRANSOM, we can catapult our service delivery to the highest quality standards.
